Jimmy specializes in working with depression, relationships, trauma, parenting, addictions, self-esteem, anxiety, sexuality, and eating disorders. With a deep sense of compassion, Jimmy is dedicated to collaborating with you to break through distress while discovering hope and joy along the way.

Whether you’re a couple, parent, student, or working professional from diverse cultural backgrounds, Jimmy has a place for you. He has a wealth of experience providing bilingual counselling services in corporate environments, international schools, universities, and private practice.

Your individuality matters. As such, Jimmy tailors personalized support every step of the way. He incorporates a range of therapeutic modalities, including Emotion-Focused Therapy, Marriage and Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Positive Psychological Interventions. 

Jimmy is a Doctor of Psychology candidate and holds a Master of Social Sciences in Counselling with Distinction from The University of Hong Kong. Additionally, he obtained a double major Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of British Columbia.

Beyond his private practice, Jimmy volunteers at various not-for-profit organizations, and he delivers time-sensitive psychoeducational programs to enhance community wellbeing.
