Jimmy strives to create a safe space where your vulnerabilities are held and your voice is heard. He specializes in supporting people to overcome depression, relationship issues, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, anxiety, stress, sexuality concerns, and eating disorders.

With a deep sense of compassion, Jimmy feels called to help people breakthrough from emotional suffering. Enabling you to discover hope and joy are Jimmy’s top priorities. You can expect healing and empowerment to grow in your relationships and emotional wellbeing through counselling.

Jimmy worked as a counsellor in international schools, universities, corporate settings, and private practice. His main clientele includes English-speaking couples, parents, and adolescents, as well as working professionals from expatriate and multicultural communities.

He draws upon various therapeutic modalities such as Emotion-Focused Therapy, Marriage and Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Positive Psychological Interventions.

Jimmy is a Doctor of Psychology candidate. He holds a Master of Social Sciences in Counselling with Distinction from the University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor in Psychology and Sociology from the University of British Columbia.
