Many clients tell me they’ve been thinking about counselling for some time before ‘taking a leap of faith’, but hesitated because they felt scared sharing about their feelings or didn’t know how counselling could help. I am grateful to share that those who took a leap of faith did not regret their decisions.

I acknowledge the courage it takes to confront life issues. As such, I respond with care, commitment, and empathy in order to create a safe and nurturing counselling space.

I believe life presents different challenges and opportunities. In the midst of challenges, there are often hidden opportunities for growth. However, depression and emotional concerns often blindsight us from our capacity to be resilient and the potentials hidden in challenges. Counselling is a great opportunity to untangle areas of life where you feel stuck through learning about yourself and the inner-resources you possess.

Throughout the counselling process, I will respect your decision to move as quickly or slowly as you wish.

I obtained my Master’s degree in Counselling from the University of Hong Kong after obtaining a Bachelor in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, US, specialising in social psychology, human growth and developmental concerns. I was also a researcher in related areas.

My experience is in working with children and adults from different backgrounds facing behavioral problems, emotional struggles, mental conditions, relational difficulties, and stress related issues.

I understand the demands of living in Hong Kong and working in large organisational structures. As such, I feel passionate in supporting people who struggles with balance between work, life, and family.
