Prior to qualifying as a counsellor, Bonnie works as a wedding planner for over a decade. She is passionate about helping individuals and couples with relational issues, including LGBT+, premarital and marital. She also has experience with people from diversified backgrounds with emotional and mental struggles, including anxiety, depression, stress, borderline personality and psychosis.
Being a people person, Bonnie is keen to provide a non-judgmental environment to together progress through a meaningful self-discovering journey. She believes mental wellbeing is as valuable as physical wellbeing.
Bonnie has achieved her Master of Social Sciences in Counselling from The University of Hong Kong, after holding a Bachelor in Anthropology from University College London in the UK. She is also a member of The Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association (HKPCA).
Bonnie is trilingual in Cantonese, English and Mandarin. She draws upon therapeutic approaches such as Person-Centred Therapy, Positive Psychology and Strength-Based Interventions, and Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy.
