Indra holds a Masters in Guidance and Counselling with distinction and has over 10 years of experience in mindfulness practice. She uses a holistic approach to her work and fully attends to each client’s needs by interweaving clear presence with practiced skill. Her philosophy is person-centered, and she takes a strengths-based approach using Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients uncover their inherent strengths and mobilize their capacities and resources so that they can not only reduce distress but also curate a more satisfying life and a compelling future. Additionally, she is an experienced instructor and career counsellor and has worked in Canada and Hong Kong guiding adolescents on their education and career journeys as well as guiding adults who are looking for a career change.
Throughout her career, she has had various roles, from full-time, part-time, and freelance positions to full-time mother of three children who are now young adults. She also decided on a later-life career change in order to find a career that was in alignment with her interests and values. These experiences have given her a deep understanding of the changes many encounter within their careers and life-time and how to navigate these often challenging times as effectively as possible. She is passionate about guiding individuals on their journey to uncover and experience their own personal greatness!
